NURSERY Additional volunteers are needed to help staff the church nursery during the Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings. If you would like to be added, please write your name and email on the sheet, or if you would like to be removed, please cross off your name. Any questions, please contact Tracy.

GREETING CARDS Christmas cards are now available in the card display in the Narthex. Cost is $1.00 each, and proceeds go to support our youth. Place money in the LYF coffee can on the round table.

NEWS FROM THE FAMILY LIFE COORDINATOR

Blue Christmas Service at Bethany
Bethany Lutheran in Cedar Rapids is hosting a “Blue Christmas” service on Wednesday, December 20.  This is a special service for those who are experiencing pain and sadness associated with the holidays. For those who have not experienced loss, this service is an opportunity to recognize that the holidays can be challenging for those who are grieving. The worship service is at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by a meal served at 6:30 p.m. For additional details and to RSVP for the meal, contact Nurse Ronda at nurse.bethanycr@gmail.com or 319-364-6026 by Monday, Dec. 18.

Luther Rose Ornaments
In recognition of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, each St. Paul family is receiving a Christmas ornament to mark the occasion.  They have been placed in your mailboxes.  These are the same ornaments the children received in their goody bags after the Christmas program last week, so we did not put an additional one in the mailbox of those families who participated.  If you would like another one for your family, there are a few extras on the table in the Narthex.
