If you are unable to attend the meeting, please fill out the sheet and put in Willis Wulf’s church mailbox. It will be decided at the meeting whether or not to proceed with future building planning.

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES Over the coming Christmas season we will spend more time together than usual with our families. As you gather, keep a watchful eye out for excessive negative talk including complaining, fault-finding, and passing on gossip. Sharing gossip and negative messages of gloom and doom is not only sinful and dishonoring to our Father, it also fosters a depressing atmosphere in the home (…and in the church). Instead, look hard for the positive and talk about it often! “Whatever is pure, whatever is lovely…think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 Lutheran Family Service, (563) 359-0696,

WORKSHOP AT TRINITY “Confessing Christ” workshop will be presented by Rev. Dr. Dean Rothchild on Saturday, January 6 from 8:30-12 at Trinity Lutheran in Cedar Rapids. Topics to be covered include: What does it mean to confess Christ Jesus?; Why do you attend the Divine Service?; other related topics. The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required by January 2. Call 319-366-1569 x220 to register.
