Join our Rip-Roaring Rafting VBS!
Life is full of thrills and spills; we may not know what’s around the bend, but God does! At Splash Canyon, kids discover that, on life’s wild ride, Jesus is by our side.  Children ages 3 through entering 5th grade should make plans to attend our Splash Canyon Vacation Bible School the evenings of July 15-19 from 6-8 p.m. Come at 5:30pm on the first night for registration and pizza!

Register Now!
You can register online at the church website:  www.splcmv.org or you may use the paper copies that are on the table in the Narthex.  Please place completed registrations in my mailbox.

Invite Your Friends to VBS
Please invite your friends, family, and neighbors to VBS this year.  We have some postcards on the table in the Narthex that you can share with others.  Take as many as you need.  We have plenty to replenish the stock.

VBS Volunteer Meeting
We will have a brief VBS volunteer meeting on Monday, July 9 at 6:00 p.m. to go over schedules, child protection procedures, and answer any questions volunteers may have.  Please contact Julie or Brenda if you are unable to make it to the meeting.

Decorate for VBS
Save the dates:  We will be creating VBS decorations on the evening of Mon., July 9 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and we plan to decorate the church on Thurs., July 12 starting at 1:00 p.m.  We will work into the evening if necessary.  If you would like to help after work but want to make sure we’re still there, just call my cell (319-929-2097). We will do our final decorating next Sunday after fellowship.

Tarps Needed
We could use a few blue and/or brown tarps to decorate for VBS.  Please mark your name on them and leave them in the Sunday School office.
