Jonathan Naumann, do in the Dominican Republic. This presentation will be held at the church and takes the place of the normal Women’s Bible Study and brunch that typically meets at Cabin Coffee. More information about the Naumanns is available on the table in the Narthex. Brunch will be provided. All women are invited. Contact Gloria Krob for more information.

ASSISTANT TO THE PASTOR Rev. Ryan Buchmueller has accepted our call to serve here at St. Paul as Assistant to the Pastor. His installation is planned to be during the regular morning worship service on November 18th with a reception following. Pastor Buchmueller’s service to our congregation in the future will look a lot like the month of October when he filled in for Pastor Hansen on vacation, and when they served together for the Reformation service. Also, if you are ever hospitalized at Mercy in Cedar Rapids, remember that you can get visits from both Pastor Hansen and Pastor Buchmueller. Contact information: chaplain@splcmv.org

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES God allows many opportunities for us to meet people who don’t know Him as their Savior. At work, in recreation, at community events, and in friendships they are there if we take the time to see and notice them. Who will come across your path who needs a word of hope, an act of kindness or an expression of love motivated by God’s love for you? Keep an eye out for ways to live out 1 John 4:19 this week!
