MEALS ON WHEELS Volunteers are needed to help deliver meals for the Meals on Wheels program. St. Paul is one of several churches in town that helps deliver meals from SE Linn Comm. Center to shut-ins in the Mt. Vernon area. Each church delivers meals 2-3 months of the year. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday (no holidays), and in the case that school is cancelled and/or bad weather, meals are not delivered. To volunteer or for more information, contact Lorena Freiburger at 319-929-2304.
THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS® Since 2014, St. Paul has received Thrivent Choice Dollars® to help support its charitable outreach projects, and we sincerely thank all members for making this possible! Eligible Thrivent Financial members have until March 31, 2019 to direct available Choice Dollars®. Thousands of dollars go undirected each year, so don’t miss this opportunity to recommend that Thrivent Financial provide outreach funding to St. Paul Lutheran Church or any of your favorite non-profit organizations. Go to Thrivent.com/thriventchoice to learn more, or call your representative. There are also brochures and instructions on how to direct your Thrivent Choice Dollars® on the table in the Narthex. Thank you!
