THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS® Since 2014, St. Paul has received Thrivent Choice Dollars® to help support its charitable outreach projects, and we sincerely thank all members for making this possible! Eligible Thrivent Financial members have until March 31, 2019 to direct available Choice Dollars®. Thousands of dollars go undirected each year, so don’t miss this opportunity to recommend that Thrivent Financial provide outreach funding to St. Paul Lutheran Church or any of your favorite non-profit organizations. Go to Thrivent.com/thriventchoice to learn more, or call your representative. There are also brochures and instructions on how to direct your Thrivent Choice Dollars® on the table in the Narthex. Thank you!

NEWS FROM THE FAMILY LIFE COORDINATOR

More than Money Matters
Budgeting often elicits a groan. Instead, imagine managing your money within a spending plan you designed to reflect your values and goals. On Sunday, March 3, we will be offering a mini-workshop covering strategies  to  help Christians  use their  money  wisely so they can live lives of contentment, confidence, and generosity.  The workshop will help participants establish a system to actively manage their money to align financial decisions with their values, and make progress toward their goals.  Participants will also learn how to communicate about money with those closest to them. The free workshop, sponsored by Thrivent Financial, will be held in our fellowship hall from 4-6 p.m.  Childcare will be available for those who need it. Please register on the signup sheet on the table in the Narthex so we can plan for supplies.

Movie & Pizza Night
Looking to get out of the house for a night?  Join your St. Paul friends for a movie and pizza night at the church on Saturday, March 2.  We will start at 5 p.m., take some time for pizza and fellowship, and then watch the movie, “Christopher Robin”, on the big screen.  Popcorn will also be provided.  All ages from children to adult are welcome.  The movie is rated PG, and has entertainment value for the young and old alike.  If you want to read more about the movie, go to https://www.pluggedin.com/movie-reviews/christopher-robin-2018. Please sign up on the table in the Narthex so we can get an idea of how much pizza to order.

Already in His infancy, Jesus was fulfilling the Law for us and for our salvation. Ask your children, “What happened, and who was in the temple waiting to see the promised Savior? What does this text tell us about who we find in God’s house?

LWR KITS Continuing through March, the Priscilla Guild is collecting all items for personal care kits for Lutheran World Relief. There is a list of items needed by the donation basket near the church entry doors. Contact Gloria Krob for more information.

THRIVENT ACTION TEAMS What could the church do with $25,000?  This is approximately the amount of Action Team money available to St. Paul Thrivent members.  In order to better utilize these Thrivent resources, Thrivent members are encouraged to sign up.  Signing up will allow church officials, such as Pastors, Elders, Council members, etc. to know who Thrivent members are and reach out when there are opportunities to use Action Teams for projects.  Signup is located on the table in the Narthex.
