Sunday School Curriculum for Fall 2019
We will be having a meeting on Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. for current Sunday School teachers and everyone interested in learning more about a potential new curriculum series.  All are welcome to hear about the new curriculum from Concordia Publishing House and to discuss whether or not we would like to adopt it at St. Paul next fall.  Go to https://teachthefaith.cph.org/enduring-faith/bible-curriculum for a sneak peek.  Attending the meeting does not commit you to teach in the fall.

SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS The Temptation of Jesus: Luke 4:1-13; Story Bible pp. 300-302. Today in Sunday School, the children studied “The Temptation of Jesus.” Like us, Jesus was tempted by Satan to sin. Yet, for us, He overcame all temptation because we cannot. In your family discussions, consider asking, “How are we tempted to rely on ourselves and trust in our powers?”

LWR During May the Priscilla Guild is collecting items for baby care kits for Lutheran World Relief. Lists of items currently needed for the kits are on the LWR table in the Narthex (please take one). Please follow the specific guidelines. Also on the table are directions for fleece blankets if you would like to contribute in that way as well.

ALTAR FLOWERS There is a flower chart for the remainder of 2019 posted on the bulletin board in the church Narthex. If you would like to provide altar flowers, please sign your name, and write the occasion for which the flowers are being provided. (or no special occasion needed to provide flowers)
