Upcoming Events

We will be offering an adult Bible study on Wednesday evenings this summer beginning on June 6.  We will be using the book Will the Real Jesus Please Stand Up by Matthew Richard.  This study will remind us who the real Jesus of the Bible is, and also reveal to us twelve false christs who are embraced, loved, promoted, and revered – even by well-meaning Christians.  The plan is to begin at 6:30 p.m. except on the evenings where there is an Evening Prayer service.  On those evenings, we will start following the prayer service (around 7 p.m.).

On Tuesday, June 26, we will be taking a group of children, youth, and adults to volunteer for the morning at the Central Iowa Orphan Grain Train site in Clemons, Iowa (northwest of Marshalltown). We will be sorting clothes, packing donations, and making health and school kits. This is a great opportunity to see first-hand the various ways that Orphan Grain Train reaches out to help those in need – both in the U.S. and abroad. We will plan to leave around 6:30 a.m. and be back by 3:00 p.m. All St. Paul members are welcome to attend. There will be a signup sheet on the table in the Narthex. Drivers are needed.

The Priscilla Guild will be having their annual garage sale and food booth on Saturday, August 4. Collection for items for the sale will begin this week. Please place items in the designated rooms in the Sunday School wing.
